BRIDGER OUTFITTERS - a family tradition for over 90 years; is
owned by Dave Warwood. His great grandfather
was an outfitter who took trips into Yellowstone
Park at the turn of the century; for fishing,
photography, and sightseeing. Dave grew up on
the family ranch his great grandfather settled
in 1882, hearing stories from his grandmother
who was camp cook on her father's expeditions.
Dave has operated this business since 1980;
for hunting, summer horse rides, Chuckwagon

We have great memories of the pack trip this
summer. excerpt from Christmas letter-My
dream come true was a horse-back trip in
the mountains When I was a child, our family spent several
wonderful summer vacations on horseback.
We took a pack trip in the Lee Metcalf Wilderness,
near Yellowstone. The weather was sunny and
warm. There were masses of wildflowers everywhere.
We had terrific horses and a wonderful outfitter
who knew the mountains well. He
took us miles cross country to see spectacular
vistas, fish in alpine lakes, and sneak up
on wildlife-- elk, deer, fox, coyote, black bear.
It couldn't have been better!(you can even
herd cattle on his ranch like "City Slickers"!)
